The Platform and Infrastructure team at Lambda School is responsible for the systems used by students, staff and engineering to make our school work. We use a variety of technologies from AWS, host many of our apps on Heroku, and are responsible for metrics, monitoring, alerting, and logs. On the IT side we use a lot of SaaS services such as GSuite Okta, Slack, Zoom, Notion, JAMF. You will be responsible for ensuring that we safely and securely manage access. You will also help students with the tools we rely on to give them a great remote experience.
What You'll Do:
- Build automation for common tasks related to the services we depend on
- Manage our SaaS services from provisioning to off boarding
- Help students with IT system related issues
- Ensure that we are following security best practices
- Help with the evaluation, integration, and management of new tools for students and staff
What You'll Need:
- 4+ years of experience managing IT systems
- Creative, customer-focused mentality for solving problems
- Experience with GSuite, Okta.
- Experience automating common IT tasks
- License management experience for onboarding and offboarding employees
- Comfort managing a queue of general IT requests
- Familiarity with general OS systems, Enterprise, and Office software
- Experience enabling security best practices
- Ability to manage projects throughout the project lifecycle
- Familiarity managing software licenses and budgets
