• *Job summary**

The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for an IT Service Continuity Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will serve as a resiliency program manager to manage all aspects of disaster recovery (DR) within Red Hat. You'll be responsible for commissioning the DR plan and verifying that the plan is maintained regularly in alignment with technical and business initiatives and for ensuring that DR processes and requirements are advertised and accounted for in new initiatives. As an IT Service Continuity Manager, you will oversee the recovery process by participating in incident response teams and you'll coordinate with vendors and others required to support recovery during DR events.

• *Primary job responsibilities**

+ Coordinate with business leaders to ensure that the IT DR plan aligns with the business continuity strategy

+ Work with system and application owners to maintain the DR Plan and related documents, and verify that DR plan documents are maintained on a regular schedule

+ Audit DR plan documents periodically for accuracy and completeness; verify that infrastructure change requests are processed for new or retired hardware and that documents are revised accordingly

+ Perform DR orientation and training for managers and associates involved with disaster recovery operations

+ Ensure that DR exercises are planned and carried out according to technical recovery plans

+ Understand the recovery order and processes and where and how to retrieve recovery plan documents

+ Participate as part of major incident management teams, working to validate and monitor recovery progress, and escalate recovery issues as required

• *Required skills**

+ Experience with standard IT DR mechanisms and processes for application, system, and service recovery

+ Solid written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to work across a globally distributed team and persuade team members

+ Ability to handle stressful crisis situations and respond calmly and in a collected manner

+ Familiarity with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines for IT DR like the Cybersecurity Framework is a plus

+ Certifications like Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Business Resilience IT Professional (CBRITP), or

+ Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (C)DRE) are a big plus
