Use your experience in enterprise sales and improve the way we manage relationships with our key customers. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced enterprise sales professional to join us as a Key Account Manager in Puteaux La Défense, France. In this role, you will build new commercial relationships, as well as expand and improve the business we do with existing customers. You'll also gain an understanding of the processes, needs, and issues of our customers, articulating the value of Red Hat’s solutions and the ways in which they address the customer needs.

  • Communicate Red Hat’s values and visions to the executive and management levels of customer organizations
  • Successfully sell solutions and services in the field
  • Develop and expand new accounts across various verticals
  • Represent Red Hat to the customer and vice versa in all sales-related matters
  • Meet assigned sales quotas
  • Work to develop and expand a fixed set of named accounts, specifically type CAC40 accounts
  • Lead a virtual sales team consisting of solutions architects, insides sales representatives, consultants, engagement managers, and Red Hat’s senior management

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience with a record of success in the software or information technology (IT) industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of companies and sales opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Knowledge of complete sales cycle management, from prospecting to closing
  • Understanding of Unix or Linux operating systems, virtualization, middleware, cloud, or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)-related sales cycles
  • Passion for open source technology
  • Significant success selling to key partners in France
  • Excellent written and verbal French and English communication skills
