We are a “Remote First” development team and we are looking for someone who is way smarter in frontend than we are. This is not a vacancy to substitute someone who left, we need someone new to significantly raise frontend expertise of our team.

You are to contribute to large-scale architectural decisions in our codebase and shape the ways we are dealing with our frontend.

Our current stack and state (which you are to improve):

• TDD, continuous delivery, fearless deployments
• All new code gets written in React, much of existing code was written in Backbone/Marionette and we are trying to convert the latter to the former as quickly as possible
• The backend is written in Ruby on Rails but you are not required to be a fullstack developer
• “Remote first” approach, developers are scattered around the globe

• Ability to work with a remote team
• Solid experience of wielding large scale frontend applications
