The Salesforce team at Georgia Tech is hiring a **Lead Salesforce Developer**! Georgia Tech is growing their Salesforce team to support recruitment operations, student success initiatives (Advisor Link), and create great student experiences. The Lead Developer role is responsible for ensuring proper solution design and performance, continuing to expand our DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and leading the team with implementing new solutions. We are looking for a team member that is passionate about creating great student experiences and developing new, innovative solutions to solve problems throughout a student's lifecycle. Salesforce experience is not a requirement, but must have a very strong development background with transferrable skills. This position is **fully remote**.

# More Information
The Application Developer Lead is a full-stack developer on the Salesforce platform team that will lead the team in developing and enhancing key enterprise applications. The developer lead will be involved in designing applications from the data model level to the UI/UX level. The lead developer will also manage code review processes and be responsible for version control and CI/CD pipelines to ensure code is properly reviewed and adheres to best practices and team guidelines. The lead developer will be responsible for design and work with other developers for implementation of key integrations utilizing Mulesoft. The lead developer will ensure custom code solutions designed in Salesforce adhere to best practices and are performant. This is a key role in enhancing and creating innovative new applications for the campus community and a passion for creating great user experiences is paramount.

## Required Qualifications
### Educational Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

### Required Experience
* Six to eight years of job related experience

## Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a Higher Education or Non-profit environment
* Understanding of the application development lifecycle
* Understanding and experience with: Databases, Object-Oriented Design, APIs, and UI/UX design
* Understanding and experience working with TDD/BDD
* Ability to work with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and develop appropriate solutions
* Must be able to communicate ideas clearly and work collaboratively on the Salesforce platform team.
* Must be technically skilled but also be able to understand business requirements and translate them into well-designed solutions.
* Must be able to lead a team and help coach other developers on how to grow their skillset and abilities.

### Preferred Educational Qualifications
* Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field

### Preferred Certifications:
* Salesforce Certifications (Platform Developer I or II, Integration Architecture Designer, etc.)

### Preferred Skills:
* 3 or more years using git, Github, or version control systems
* 3 or more years of experience integrating with REST APIs
* 3 or more years working on an Agile team
* 5 or more years of Apex, Java, C# .NET, or a scripting language such as Python or JS

$82,000 — $111,500
