The Red Hat Global Learning Delivery team is looking for a Learning and Development Instructor to join us in Prague, Czech Republic. In this role, you will be responsible for the facilitation of our onboarding, leadership and management development, soft skills, and professional skills training programs. In addition, you'll help build regional and local training capabilities. As a Learning and Development Instructor, you will focus on the development of sustained behavior change that improves performance of managers, sales managers, and associates.


  • Facilitate learning via classroom instructions, webinars, and virtual and blended learning; incorporate a variety of presentation methods and applications to accommodate adult learning styles
  • Train on both off-the-shelf and custom content
  • Manage classroom environment and adapt instructional style depending on the audience
  • Make recommendations to managers regarding the overall learning experience of participants, including follow-up study materials
  • Ensure that the class content is delivered as designed and make specific recommendations to the curriculum and portfolio managers to continually improve the global content and design
  • Support team initiatives and identify ways to enhance learning effectiveness
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Global Learning Delivery team by identifying ways to continuously improve the learning process
  • Perform various other tasks and special projects as required

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline like adult education, communications, or human resources (HR)
  • 5+ years of work experience in an information technology (IT) or high-technology industry is a plus
  • Experience developing leadership and coaching skills in managers
  • Fluent language skills in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of professional classroom facilitation experience; experience in an adult training capacity
  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and listening skills
  • Proven ability to take initiative and a positive attitude
  • Team-oriented, motivated, and enthusiastic
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing business environment
  • Ability to train leadership courses; past experience with training technical content is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 50-75%
