The Red Hat Global Learning Services (GLS) team is looking for a Learning and Development Instructor to join us in Bangalore, India. In this role, you'll provide technical assistance by responding to incoming service requests about Red Hat Online Learning system. You'll assist students in understanding of our Red Hat Online Learning system and course content, helping them with course-related, guided lab exercises. You will also assist the curriculum development team with lab quality assurance (QA) testing and curriculum maintenance projects. As a Learning and Development Instructor, you'll need a willingness to continuously learn and deepen your knowledge of Red Hat’s solutions.


  • Provide technical assistance to students by responding to incoming service requests about Red Hat Online Learning system
  • Assist students with understanding of our Red Hat Online Learning system and course content, and course-related, guided lab exercises
  • Apply hotfixes to course content or lab environments
  • Collaborate with other members of the Red Hat training teams to resolve issues for our students
  • Assist curriculum developers with building and deploying cloud images for training lab exercises
  • Assist curriculum developers with curriculum maintenance projects
  • Deploy updated or new course content into the Red Hat Online Learning system
  • Perform QA tests on lab content produced by the Red Hat Training Curriculum Development team
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of Red Hat’s solutions

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the enterprise; degree in information technology (IT) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Quality customer service skills and prior customer-focused role experience
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones
  • Command line expertise of Linux
  • Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification
  • Ability to troubleshoot Red Hat OpenShift is a plus
  • Shell scripting, HTML5, or Java programming experience is a plus
