The Red Hat Deal Desk team is looking for a Manager of the Deal Facilitators team to join the North America (NA) Commercial Deal Desk Specialists team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will manage the team responsible for providing sales support administration for quote to contract. You will become one of our subject matter experts for our quoting and contract signature tools, helping address process-related inquiries and process issues. As a Manager, you'll need to have experience with the RFX process, best practices, and tools.
- *Primary job responsibilities**
+ Manage a team of 10-12 deal facilitators responsible for collaborating and establishing solid and trusted working relationships with all the NA commercial sales teams
+ Collaborate with team associates, internal teams, and stakeholders to guide process improvements pertaining to quote-to-contract administration
+ Provide your subject matter expertise with quote-to-contract and contract life cycle management tools, preferably with Apttus
+ Enforce compliance to quoting policies
+ Propel the standardization of the use of templates, forms, and other tools
+ Cooperate with the Red Hat Order Management team as needed
+ Review and update customer and SFDO offering details to ensure a high degree of data accuracy
+ Manage resources responsible for DocuSign administration
+ Identify and implement best practices for record retention and overall business processes
+ Bachelor's degree; advanced degree is a plus
+ 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably working in a technology company selling solutions and services in a recurring revenue business model
+ 5+ years of management experience, preferably in a technology company
+ Combined background in sales and sales operations
+ Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) or other customer relationship management (CRM) tools
+ Experience with Apttus or other quote-to-contract or contract life cycle management tools
+ Experience with discounting practices to help provide guidance on requirements, policies, and processes
+ Outstanding communication skills and excellent presentation skills, as you will constantly cooperate with peers and multiple levels of management
+ Familiarity with the opportunity-to-cash cycle, including operations, order processing, fulfillment, revenue recognition, legal contracts, etc.
+ Organized, detail-oriented, motivated, and persistent; excellent diplomatic and persuasion skills
+ Customer service focus, including the ability to deliver multiple priority projects with high customer satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment
+ Ability to work quickly and efficiently under changing conditions and timelines
+ Knowledge of Red Hat's offerings is a plus
