Marketing Campaigns Senior Manager

Location : Gurgaon


Key internal stakeholders:

Head of Marketing India, Asia Pacific Vice President Marketing, Senior Area Vice President India, PR Manager India, Director Sales Development India, and Director Sales Programs India. APAC marketing team including digital, content, customers, communications, strategic events and operations.

Key External Stakeholders: Suppliers and agencies

Salesforce is seeking an experienced, well-rounded, dynamic and results-focused marketing professional to drive our integrated marketing programs in India. This person will be responsible for demand generation, brand building, awareness and consideration for this key growth segment, taking direction from the Head of Marketing, India. The candidate will be experienced in B2B marketing and a wide range of go-to-market activities. Previous roles working in technology companies and especially cloud and/or marketing to service, sales and/or marketing decision makers is an advantage.

Although this role is an individual contributor, it requires a leader who is able to orchestrate a cross-functional team to deliver aggressive pipeline generation and lead growth. The candidate needs excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with key sales and strategy stakeholders and be accountable for results. Analytical capability is key for understanding and managing demand generation, forecasting, budgeting, lead flow, and the many moving parts involved in running an effective marketing machine.

Proven experience in programmatic demand generation through integrated campaigns and customer journeys is critical. Strong working knowledge of digital marketing is important, as well as experience in managing and delivering website content and engaging creative teams and external agencies to effectively execute projects on time and on budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute customer-driven, locally oriented the end-to-end marketing strategies and programs to increase customer demand, positively impact Salesforce brand equity in India and meet pipeline goals throughout the funnel. Including lead generation activities, marketing campaigns, awareness building, product & solutions sales support, reference programs, customer & partner marketing, on-line marketing programs)
  • Collaborate with other marketing and communications specialists to deliver breakthrough ideas and innovation in our go-to-market strategy for net-new business via all relevant mediums and channels (e.g. Digital, events, 3rd party associations, influencers, PR/media, social media and sales programs).
  • Work closely with the sales leadership teams across India to align marketing programs to business and sales objectives and priorities, and ensure all sales targets are met
  • Coordinate enablement of sales development and sales programs/telemarketing resources.
  • Improve and apply processes and best practices to ensure program success, making programs globally visible and available, measure outcomes and manage budgets to maximise impact.
  • Publish frequent campaign scorecards to share performance trends and best practices with key stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to gain input into the program strategy, campaign approach, creative direction and impact measurement (goals/performance).
  • Have the capability to orchestrate, negotiate, prioritise and manage project deliverables with other members of the marketing organisation as needed.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business/Marketing/Communications.
  • 10+ years B2B marketing experience in a campaign manager or marketing manager capacity.
  • 10+ years’ experience managing and developing integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand, pipeline and brand preference (i.e. email, digital, direct mail, print, events and social media)
  • Proven track record of building, leading and managing B2B marketing campaigns throughout the pipeline funnel across web, social, email, as well as in-person events and other activities.
  • A highly professional and collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • 10+ year’s experience managing marketing budgets, allocating & optimizing spend across tactics and experience with forecasting results and driving quantifiable ROI
  • 10+ years experience partnering with sales to deliver enterprise results
  • Strong background in developing and executing persona-focussed and/or industry-specific marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills using storytelling.
  • Attacks everything with drive and energy with an eye on both the bottom line and customer success.
  • Works well under pressure or in a high growth environment that is constantly changing
  • Track record for managing multiple initiatives and delivering under tight deadlines
  • Analytically inclined, exceptional organizational skills with rigorous attention to detail and strong project management skills.
  • Past experience in using Salesforce, and/or other marketing tools such as Salesforce would be an advantage.
