Are you ready to be appreciated? Criterion Systems, Inc., is seeking a .Net Developer to support a contract 100% remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining systems for the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS). Use Visual Studio 2017 to design and implement C#.Net enhancements and code fixes for FNS systems. Have experience in JavaScript, C# and SQL. Write and execute SQL queries, stored procedures and functions using Microsoft SQL Server 2016. Work with Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services to deploy reports to the various environments. Support the scripting of test automation scripts using Katalon Studio test automation software. Work with git to integrate Katalon Studio test automation scripts. Use Team Foundation Server (TFS) for source code management. Support the Help Desk in the resolution of JIRA Trouble-Tickets opened in response to calls from the end-users. Update JIRA as necessary as work on trouble tickets progresses. Work in an agile-environment with the Scrum Master to implement code as approved and directed by the FNS customer. Work with the Scrum Master to understand and gather requirements from end-user Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and FNS Management. Participate in code reviews. Thoroughly unit test code being developed for Sprints as part of the Software Development Life Cycle. Support integration and regression test of code as part of the Software Development Life Cycle. Provide detailed technical status as input for the weekly status report. Is proficient at writing thorough technical documentation in support of the Program. Follow FNS and Criterion SDLC processes. Deploy code to servers in the lower environment. Write full and detailed deployment instructions to provide to a vendor partner for the deployment of code changes in the upper environments. Suggest and implement, as approved by management, process improvements and automation enhancements. As requested, suggest system architectural enhancements and provide options and estimates for implementation. Is detail-oriented, has an analytical mind and approaches the solution of problems in a systematic way. Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Participate in training presentations that provide users and the FNS customer with an understanding of system functions and capabilities. With FNS approval for integration and implementation of the code into the production environment, implement the code in production environment per the established process through close coordination with the hosting Contractor. Ensure that all changes to the production system are fully documented in all the relevant design documents. Ensure that configuration management (CM) process and procedures are adhered to and in place for the continued development of the system, including code version control through the FNS Team Foundation Server repository for the production environment and development environment. Provide expertise in addressing and resolving errors detected in the production system that cannot be resolved by the on-site support personnel. Ensure all public facing interfaces comply with Section 508 standards. Follow Criterion policies and procedures and complete requested training and tasks in a timely manner. Serve as the back-up Help Desk Analyst to provide required coverage during period of absence (leave, sick, emergency, etc.) of the Primary Help Desk Analyst. Monitor e-mail and telephone communications to rapidly and accurately respond to Help Desk, customer or PM inquiries. Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship Ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Clearance Ability to work from home Five (5) years of Visual Studio Development experience Three (3) years of Microsoft SQL Server experience. Works individually, actively participates on integrated teams.
