As a Partner Solutions Architect, you will provide technical guidance including analyst research, competitive assessment, and guidance for partners and regional channel teams to provide an impact in the field. This role should ideally be based in Raleigh, NC, Westford, MA, or Dallas, TX, but can also be based anywhere in North America near a major airport.
  • *Primary job responsibilities**
+ Assist with the definition of market problems and opportunities for Red Hat's technologies to make an impact, especially while working with Red Hat's partners

+ Conduct regular demonstrations of technologies and offerings to partners based on the go-to-market strategy

+ Serve as a subject matter expert backstop to our regional counterparts as they provide timely and accurate technical responses to partners as they work to evaluate and scale in the market

+ Actively engage and support partners in technical evaluations of offerings in service of potential joint solutions

+ Establish go-to-market momentum by highlighting joint solutions to partner sales, presales, and marketing teams worldwide

+ Develop and maintain tools to support the GPA business development teams, including demonstrations and presentation materials

+ Contribute to building best practices among peers in the GPA, Sales, and Engineering teams

+ Coordinate with Red Hat's regional teams outside of North America, enabling them to achieve their goals for solutions created by the global team
  • *Required skills**
+ 2+ years of experience working in a technical presales, partner SA, support, or consulting role

+ Solid experience working either at an ISV in the security space, or working with cybersecurity ISVs

+ Knowledge of leading tools focused on DevOps or automation strategies like Red Hat Ansible Automation, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, or an equivalent in the space

+ Solid Linux system administration skills; Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT)-level Linux skills or higher are a plus

+ Comfortable with ambiguity and trying to define new market spaces

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent experience

+ Presentation or public speaking skills

+ Great customer-service skills and a desire to enable users to be successful

+ Positive attitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Highly organized

+ Thorough knowledge of (including advanced troubleshooting skills in) Linux; any distribution other than Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is a plus
