We are delighted to be seeking a Principal Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a recently formed and fast growing EMEA Services Sales team in Salesforce Customer Success Group (CSG). CSG are responsible for driving our Customers Success in implementing, adopting or transforming their businesses with Salesforce' entire range of Cloud portfolio offerings. This is an exceptional opportunity for anyone interested in learning broadly about our Cloud portfolio and is a gateway role to opening up an exciting career in Sales throughout the Salesforce organisation.

As a senior member of our burgeoning team of Business Development Representatives, you will be primarily focused on achieving individual quota against set regional targets for converting leads into opportunities, progressing pipeline and generating net new pipeline as part of a larger Business Development function within CSG. Additionally, you will be operating in a highly visible and collaborative in-region position with responsibility for helping to coach and develop our teams newer BDR's in best practices and processes with a view to helping them achieve greater success in their roles. With direct links to our CSG Account Partner teams, this is your chance to launch your career in a direction that reflects your strengths and interests.

We are currently looking for applicants across the following cities: London, Dublin, Milan, Zurich, Munich, Amsterdam and Helsinki.

3 Months

  • Complete a 6-8-week industry leading, comprehensive and innovative sales training and mentoring program. We deliver cutting-edge insights so you can hone your expertise to be successful in a revenue-generated sales world: learning sales methodology/techniques to help ensure success in the role.
  • Continue to strengthen your strategic thinking, sales skills and technical knowledge with regular 1:1 coaching from a highly tenured team of Services professionals and experience on the job.
  • Attend week-long Kickstart enablement in Madrid or another European country with the broader Business Development organisation
  • Master the CSG messaging and comfortably consult C-levels on implementation or consultancy services
  • Partner closely with your Account Executives and Account Partners to build territory strategy and business plans
  • Gain insights into the challenges facing multiple industries across the entire breadth of EMEA

12 Months

  • Capable of owning a customer meeting and effectively selling into Senior Levels of multi-billion dollar revenue companies
  • Consistently collaborate with the broader account team (e.g. marketing, product management, customer success, partners) to drive the strategy for penetrating strategic companies and prospects
  • Mentor and train other members of the team

What You’ll Need To Be Successful in Your Application

  • Strong academic background and performance
  • Quantitative track record of exceptional performance in Business Development and a strong professional trajectory
  • Experience with failure, a track record of learning, resilience, and engaging new ideas
  • Strategic thinking with a bias towards action
  • Strong prospection skills and ability to develop business in new and existing accounts
  • Collaborative work style – you will be helping to drive a book of business across all of EMEA
  • Ownership – you take ownership of your results and often look for ways to improve
  • You are a challenger – you love connecting the dots in business strategy and are comfortable bringing a provocative point of view to any internal or customer-facing meeting. You are candid but thoughtful towards others in your feedback and are constantly seeking feedback in return

  • Fluency in oral and written communications in English - additional languages a plus
