Principal Digital Strategist
Remote, U.S.

The Principal Digital Strategist works with senior leaders across the business and industry to effectively shape and communicate the company’s strategy. This person will work across teams to help ensure the connection of corporate strategy to the market demands, ensuring that Q2 remains in a leadership position. The Principal Digital Strategist will execute on priority initiatives for the Chief Strategy Officer and other C-level executives. By partnering with executive management, Corporate Development, Marketing, Investor Relations, Sales, and other teams, as well as closely partnering with our customers, the Principal Digital Strategist will support in the evaluation, planning, development, packaging and implementation a broad range of strategic projects designed to articulate Q2s strategy.

CAPABILITIES:

  • Deep experience evaluating, implementing and measuring the overall effectiveness of digital initiatives within financial services
  • Adept at aligning digital strategy with specific solutions, product requirements, deliverables, metrics and necessary resources to achieve desired outcomes and client-focused action plans
  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Creates alignment with Q2 customer, prospect and market leadership related to Q2 overall strategy, capabilities and brand promise
  • Supports clients in the evaluation and prioritization process related to significant investments into the digitalization of the enterprise and ensures mutually beneficial and measurable outcomes

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build relationships with the client’s executive teams.
  • Work with financial institutions to understand their digital and business strategy, then align with existing and future Q2 solutions and services.
  • Ensure Q2 strategy and communications remain aligned with technology innovation across financial services industry including digital banking, marketing analytics, lending, payments, user experience, etc.
  • Develop engaging thought leadership communications and disseminate information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish execution framework for strategic planning at scale – used by RM/CEM and client organizations / teams – assessing challenges/needs/gaps, diagnosing the root problems and recommending an approach leveraging Q2 products and services.
  • Identify and support assessment of other strategic initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

  • Deep experience designing, implementing and measuring effectiveness of digital transformation initiatives for financial services
  • Domain expertise in assessing technology solutions, measuring ROI, budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis with and for clients.
  • Experience leading complex projects or programs
  • Proven success leading teams and managing complex client demands
  • Strong verbal and written communicator with proven track record of creating and nurturing thought leadership within financial services sector
  • Subject matter expert in financial services technologies and the business of banking
