 Job summary
The Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider (CCSP) team is looking for a Principal Product Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. The CCSP program is the fastest-growing channel within Red Hat, as more customers and partners include public cloud as part of their IT strategies and services. In this role, you will be responsible for all offerings that our partners use or resell in the CCSP program. You will also establish a clear understanding of use cases for our partners to guide business through the CCSP channel. As the Principal Product Manager for CCSP, you will work cross-functionally and globally with numerous teams, including Red Hat product management, operations, global partner alliances, and global support services. Youll work as part of the Business Architecture team with our teams technical and operational teams to create, maintain, and retire offerings as needed.
 Primary job responsibilities
 Manage all CCSP offerings from inception to end-of-life  Create and lead roadmap for quarterly releases of the CCSP program  Work with multiple product and business managers within the Products and Technologies (PNT) team to establish CCSP pricing models, product content, and business rules for each offering  Work with global support services to establish requirements for supporting each offering through CCSP partners, including support models and training and certification requirements  Communicate offerings to CCSP field leaders in global regions and to global partner alliances  Work with CCSP product management on successful pilot programs for net-new offerings  Manage technical content and operational workstreams  Contribute to CCSP product documentation for each quarterly program release  Develop content for training activities for CCSP sales teams and partners  Evangelize the CCSP program with other PNT product teams, Red Hats sales and presales engineers, and end customers
 Required skills
 5-10 years of product or program management experience; experience with partner programs is a plus  5-10 years of software industry experience, preferably within an area of infrastructure software, e.g., operating systems (Linux is preferred), virtualization, cloud, or system management  Understanding of the common technical concepts and technologies including IT infrastructure, cloud (public and private), and DevOps  Bachelors degree in marketing, engineering, computer science, or a related area; MBA is a plus  Record of success in a fast-paced technical environment  Proven experience managing multiple offerings through a complete life cycle  Understanding of partner business concerns and of guiding business through indirect channels  Ability to translate technology features into partner benefits and develop proof points and value propositions for our offerings  Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills; experience presenting to medium to large audiences  Ability to work and experience working in a persuasion-driven, cross-functional environment (like a startup) with minimal supervision  Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once in a highly complex environment  Critical thinking skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions  Willingness to travel approximately 20%  Domain knowledge of and experience with open source projects is a plus
