Job Description

As a Principal Product Manager in Data Integration, you will drive the strategy, build, GTM and success of Data Integration products for MuleSoft. You will work with a diverse team including engineering, data science, and product management that has come together to deliver data integration products, platforms, and services. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with the executive team on very high visibility projects. Your primary functional ownership will include:

Data Integration products to provide real-time streaming and bulk data integration.

Data governance and quality products to enable MuleSoft users to discover, secure, and ensure data quality for their Application Network.

What you'll achieve:

3 Months:

+ Learn MuleSoft's business domain, architecture, and data structure

+ Embed yourself with the development team and start to drive agile process

+ Work across teams to define the data integration strategy

+ Present data integration opportunities proposal to product executive and peer product managers

12 Months:

+ Define a two-year roadmap for all major data integration functional areas

+ Own the company's data integration strategy and serve as the point person to bridge between market needs and product development

+ Keep up with the latest data integration, processing, governance, and quality trends

+ Drive innovation and enhance MuleSoft's reputation as a data integration company

What you'll need to be successful:

+ Ability to quickly synthesize ideas, information, and options

+ Deep understanding of ETL, big data, event streaming, CDC, data governance, data quality, Machine Learning (ML) and AI.

+ Customer empathy

+ SDLC experience with 360 cross-functional impact

+ Experience in creating realistic release plans and identifying risks

+ Data-driven and results-oriented mindset and experience using A/B and analytical methodology

+ Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

+ BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Statistics or equivalent; advanced degree preferred

+ Prior experience as a Software Engineer, data integration architect, is a big plus
