  • *Job summary**
The Red Hat Product Marketing team is looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will define, position, and guide the strategy for Red Hat Virtualization and its associated suites, as well as all outbound product marketing activities. You'll create successful customer stories and use cases to help the global Field Sales team achieve success. You will also establish clear understanding of target customers, business drivers, and selling motions to your sales channels, as well as design innovative marketing programs to guide customer and channel demands.
  • *Primary job responsibilities**
+ Cooperate with other marketing teams to better understand the types of content to be created and delivered

+ Identify and design content and campaigns for internal and external audiences

+ Ensure that marketing plans align with market directions and support the roadmap and releases of our offerings

+ Serve as an evangelist both internally and externally to guide the overall success of the service

+ Participate in technical aspects of go-to-market engagements like roadshows, workshops, webinars, offering and solution demos, and industry and partner events

+ Guide company and partner readiness activities related to sales, partner, and marketing functions
  • *Required skills**
+ 8+ years of product marketing experience, preferably with enterprise infrastructure software, virtualization, or cloud

+ Bachelor's degree; master's degree is a plus

+ Critical thinking skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions

+ Ability to translate technology features into customer benefits

+ Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills; experience presenting to medium to large audiences

+ Experience working effectively in a persuasion-oriented, cross-functional environment

+ Ability to work with minimal supervision in a startup-like environment

+ Understanding of the common technical jargon of the information technology (IT) infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and the system management space

+ Willingness to travel 10-25%

Experience with the following technologies and use cases is a plus:

+ Red Hat Virtualization, KVM, Xen, and other open source virtualization software

+ VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and other proprietary virtualization software

+ Public cloud offerings like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure

+ Network functions virtualization (NFV)

+ High-performance computing (HPC)

+ Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML)

+ Edge computing and DevOps
