The Remarkably Engineering team is looking for an experienced engineer to make an immediate impact on our core technology. This position will lead a next-wave of feature and platform development as we expand and refine our product. As a principal engineer you will be doing everything from developing new features to architecting solutions with the CTO to helping manage releases. This is a senior role where you'll have the opportunity to mentor, provide guidance and help mold the engineering culture. Our tech team trends towards fullstack, embraces hustle &; grit over bikeshedding, and is willing to reach for the right tool to get the job done...even if that tool is PHP...which it's not...but if it was...

Our current technology stack looks something like:

• Django/DRF
• React
• Postgres
• Redis
• Airflow
• AWS
• Sendgrid

Qualities we're looking for include:

• 5 or more years of professional software development experience, ideally on a product-oriented team
• Production experience with django & react
• Experience as part of a team that launched user-facing solutions
• Familiarity with "modern" devops practices
• Comfortable working as part of a distributed remote team

Bonus points if:

• You've created systematic integrations with third-party platforms, not just one-off API hacks
• You have some early-stage startup experience, maybe even founded a few yourself
• You've led a team
