• *Job summary**

The Red Hat Global Partners and Alliances (GPA) team is looking for a Principal Solutions Strategy Lead to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will serve as a key resource in helping to identify, qualify, and select potential solution offerings to be developed jointly with Red Hat's partners. You'll lead the creation of solution proposals to ensure that they accurately reflect a relevant market opportunity, competitive and cooperative ecosystem dynamics, and viable go-to-market strategies. You'll actively team with business development managers and solution architects across a variety of different types of partners like original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), independent software vendors (ISVs), and system integrators (SIs), as well as key vertical market areas like financial services, internet of things, or healthcare. You will also collaborate with a variety of internal and external technical, marketing, and sales stakeholders to align and evangelize go-to-market plans to ensure that the chosen solutions are successfully launched and monetized with and through Red Hat's partner ecosystem.

• *Primary job responsibilities**

+ Collaboratively develop solution proposals with business development managers, product management, and partner executives

+ Maintain a view of market segment, including partner lists, comparative analyses and its relevance to Red Hat

+ Assist in the creation of project plans to build and validate approved solution proposals with our partners

+ Cooperate with the key Red Hat and partner executives to report progress of segment evaluation and solution development

+ Manage monthly communications and quarterly business reviews for solution investments

• *Required skills**

+ Excellent English language skills with great interpersonal and communication skills

+ Demonstrated record of developing strategic relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout organizations

+ Demonstrated success in managing complex, potentially international projects

+ Excellent awareness of the infrastructure enterprise software market and adjacent spaces

+ Thorough knowledge of Red Hat's portfolio, with specific skills in our emerging technology

+ Ability to learn and synthesize new concepts quickly

+ Passion for open source technologies and motivated to learn and create new things

+ Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders with sometimes competing objectives

+ Willingness to travel up to 25%

+ Extensive experience in enterprise software sales and marketing is a plus
