A product development coordinator at Nathan James supports the product and design team in developing new products from ideation through production and improvement. This Product Development Coordinator will report directly into our Director of Product Development and work closely with our International team.
General Responsibilities
- Manage product information, assets and material/finish libraries in our PLM system for cross-functional teams to reference
- Ensure new developments are meeting all major milestones for a successful product launch.
- Review and evaluate product quality and performance through customer interactions and help initiate product improvements
- Assist in market research and trend analysis
- Support product development team on all product development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; marketing, merchandising, industrial design, international business or related fields
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as visual presentation skills
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ownership of deliverables
- Knowledge of furniture development & production highly preferred
