Product Lifecycle Business Analyst

The Customer Success and Growth (CSG) organization at Salesforce is responsible for on-boarding, product usage, best practices, training, customer support, professional services, partner certification, and developing long-term relationships with Salesforce customers. The End of Life (EOL) team is a process oriented team that leads the charge around Product Lifecycle Management for EOL products, features, and services. We strive to adapt to the needs of our customers both internal and external through the adherence and evolution of process.

We are looking for hands-on data analysts to be part of the End of Life (EOL) team. As part of the team you will guide products, features, and services through the established process to bring a product, feature, or service to its end. You will at times work with large teams that represent a number of different stakeholders and other times you will work alone with little involvement from others. We are a small tight knit team that works together to accomplish a common goal across a diverse ecosystem, we look forward to you joining our team.

You will:
Help enable Product Lifecycle transformation
Do business data analysis and must be comfortable with large data sets
Be a good communicator who can present their data analysis/findings in a clear and concise manner
Be very comfortable extracting data from a wide range of sources (Excel, Splunk, database, etc.) and develop insightful charts, dashboards and reports
Troubleshoot data issues that impact business reporting and functional stakeholders
Be very good in documenting the analysis, results and data processes, which can be reused by the team
Be a great team player who thrives in a diverse global team
Be very passionate about quality and have a strong sense of ownership on the work accomplished
Have a high sense of urgency to respond to data queries/ issues or deliver data requests
Be proactive, well-organized, and have strong attention to detail

Requirements:
2-6 years experience in data analysis/ reporting
Some experience experience in writing complex database queries in any SQL language (Oracle, MySQL, etc) a plus
Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) with the ability to manipulate, extract, analyze and report data from databases
Strong analytical skills along with ability to work independently with limited supervision
Experience with any analytics/ reporting tools like Tableau, Business Objects, Spotfire etc is preferable
2 years Salesforce experience and Salesforce Administrator certification is required (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
