We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building software products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, launch, and manage data-driven analytics products in alignment with Buxton’s vision and strategy. This person is concerned with how our underlying technology aligns with business priorities while also championing for the customer and making sure our data and analytics ecosystem drives results. In your role as a Product Manager you will be the expert in transferring a vision into reality that provides stakeholders value and benefit.

• Product reviews/testimonials

• Primary research from customers and prospects, gaining deep understanding of the customer experience
• Create user/customer profiles
• Translate and present product strategy through detailed product requirements documents
• Generate and maintain functional requirements documents
• Clearly illustrate current and future product states to stakeholders

• Work with product designers to generate wireframes and designs
• Guide product developers and ensure clear understanding of user stories
• Track work planning
• Conduct product testing
• Collect and organize Product feedback

• Coordinate with marketing to promote product
• Analyze and monitor product performance in terms of revenue, market share, margin, and customer engagement and feedback
• Identify and manage upgrades and improvements
• Create and maintain product roadmap
• Share or coordinate delivery of industry best practices with internal staff to keep them on top of their game.  

• Act as a product portfolio evangelist

Requirements

What you bring

• 5+ years of software product owner or manager experience
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent people and management skills to interact with your team and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with development processes (Agile, Waterfall, etc)
• You enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and finding innovative solutions for the broader market
• The proven ability to develop, implement, execute, and communicate a product management strategy
• Superior presentation and analytical skills plus demonstrated ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously

• Experience in project and change management both influencing the change and implementing initiatives
• Possession of tact, integrity, and common sense
• Ability to foster the company’s culture and core values
