Emptor is looking for a Product Manager to join our Engineering team. This is a crucial role responsible for managing customer requirements and representing all stakeholders for the project. The Product Manager will be working very closely with their team and will be responsible for their product’s success and providing guidance and support of what should be built to everyone involved with the development as well as making difficult decisions when necessary. We are looking for a PM with strong communication and negotiation skills.

You're expected to have strong written communication skills and to excel in working relationships with people different than you.

Remote - Global team, 8:00 AM UTC-5 to 8:00 PM UTC-5.

Requirements

  • Willing to work around the Americas timezones.

  • Business Analyst or Engineering background.

  • Success leading or working with teams of engineers implementing systems under service-oriented architectures.

  • Experience shipping complex technological or digital products based on data, preferably for identity or fraud-detection systems.

  • Customer-focused and data driven.

  • Tolerance for a moving environment and iterative development.

  • Define and communicate the direction and strategy of the product.

  • Identify and prioritize a client’s needs and expectations.

  • Evaluate and articulate the needs of the business and align them with the client’s needs.

  • Measure and monitor the operation of the product and inform the design and development priorities.

  • Ensure the resources and support of the main stakeholders.

  • Define the list of backlog items and prioritize them based on the overall strategy and business objectives.

  • Map out project dependencies to determine the necessary sequence of development.

  • Anticipate client needs to more effectively manage the development process.
