The Red Hat Technology Partner Program team is looking for an experienced technical business development professional to join us as a Product Marketing Manager in Westford, MA. In this role, you will guide the proactive, targeted ecosystem development with priority partners and market segments, working closely with other teams and functions across Red Hat. In the spirit of Red Hat's offering Technology Partner Program, you will offer our partners the expertise, tools, and certification offerings needed to successfully participate in the commercial ecosystem. The Red Hat offering strategy is guided by the vision of an open hybrid cloud platform, enabling any application in any environment on any cloud, and relies on a vibrant ecosystem of certified offerings and services from technology partners available to enterprise customers.
- *Primary job responsibilities**
+ Manage the proactive recruiting, onboarding, support, and promotion of assigned priority partners
+ Participate in defining the requirements and roadmaps for partner offerings for certification and joint go-to-market strategies
+ Participate in defining marketing positioning, promotion, and business development plans with priority partners for their certified offerings
+ Lead the development and continuous updating of Red Hat's view of assigned market segments, most relevant partner offerings, competitive analysis and its importance to Red Hat
+ Manage the priority and coverage process for assigned market segments
+ Oversee the cross-functional collaboration on proactive, high-touch partner recruitment, onboarding, support, and promotion
+ Enable and coach the virtual teams guiding ecosystem development in the assigned market segments
+ Track and report on partner engagement and progress for assigned market segments
+ 10+ years of experience managing partners or partner programs for large information technology (IT) companies
+ Experience working with independent software vendors (ISVs) and value-added partner types
+ Excellent architectural understanding of the computing platform market, software development life cycle, cloud, and container technologies
+ Outstanding knowledge of and experience with open source software and open source business models
+ Demonstrated experience working in collaborative environments with global and regional sales, services, marketing, and product organizations
+ Highly collaborative and team-focused
+ Solid implementation skills with a high attention to detail to ensure operational efficiency and reporting
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on business, marketing, or technology; advanced degree in business administration or marketing is a plus
