Role Summary

Location: Remote from US, ideally East or Central Timezone

Qubit’s Professional Services team includes the brightest talent: ex-consultants, engineers, entrepreneurs and graduates. We are looking for a Client Project Manager to support our European team in delivering best in class technology implementations and ongoing optimisation programmes. We need somebody with strong attention to detail and client facing skills to guide a variety of customers through the Qubit platform and optimisation programmes.

At an exciting time in Qubit’s growth, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of customer relationships and supporting your Professional Services team in executing.

This role provides a platform to develop client and project management skills in a fast paced, innovative technology start-up. It is a great opportunity for people who are looking for their next step in the SAAS space or to move away from traditional corporate careers and would like to join a growing Professional Services team within an international business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and managing the execution of SOW in-scope activities and deliverables such as meetings, trainings, onboarding tasks,etc
  • Ensuring Roles and Responsibilities are clearly defined and understood by all internal and external stakeholders contributing to the successful execution of the project
  • Scheduling and facilitating kickoff meetings and preparing necessary documentation/resources
  • Creating project roadmaps and delivery plans
  • Roadmap Execution
    • Project managing the delivery and execution of client projects against budget/SOW and quality
    • Developing and validating customer briefs, liaising with other internal teams as appropriate and ensuring all materials needed for the team to build efficiently have been provided
    • Developing delivery cadence and serving as the day to day point of contact for our customers
    • Managing expectations with the customer around timelines, ways of working/processes, and our product capabilities/limitations
    • Push back on deliverables requested from CSMs/customers when these are not included in SOW or formally agreed upon OR confirm/ensure the former, that we do have a formal agreement which covers a deliverable
    • Coordinating and scheduling required resources for delivery of the project
    • Interfacing with other parts of the business to provide support for the Delivery teams
    • Removing and/or escalating impediments that disrupt efficient delivery of the project
    • Managing risks and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
    • Collaborating with the CSM and other relevant team members to prepare for and deliver client QBRs
  • Developing client relationships at practitioner level as well as raising opportunities for improvements/upsells if/when identified
  • Documenting project progress in line with project management best practices (meeting minutes, project plan updates, weekly status reports, etc)
  • Work in collaboration with the Qubit Customer Success Managers to:
    • Provide updates on customers ongoing optimisation roadmaps
    • Identify and flag customer relationship or retention risks
    • Share knowledge that you acquire on the customer company, business objectives and stakeholders

Requirements

Personal Attributes:

  • Bachelor Degree or more
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Internship in enterprise SaaS, IT/management consulting or another relevant industry
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel projects, liaise with customers, pushing back as required
  • Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills (ability to present to different audiences and bring the message across in a concise, professional manner)
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Proven passion for technology and digital

Preferred skills:

  • Experience working with software platforms
  • Agile Project Management (APM) certified or 1-year experience in Agile project management
  • Some understanding of the SAAS industry and professional services operating models
  • Comfortable with technical concepts and adept at learning new technology applications
  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and work with both technical and business staff/customers
  • Strong business acumen
  • Basic knowledge of SQL preferred
  • Self starter, who enjoys working autonomously in a fast paced and innovative environment
