We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, so you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you feel competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d love to meet you.
What you’ll do
Ultimately, you will ensure that our product, applications and systems work correctly. For that, you will:
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies and test plans, ensuring quality through the development lifecycle
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams and help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
What’s required
We need you to have proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar role, knowledge about project management and QA methodology, and great communication skills, so fluent English is essential! This position is open for remote work, so there’s no location requirement.
Other skills we’re looking for are:
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
