Posted almost 2 years agoQuality Assurance Tester at ReCharge Remote We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join a small team that works on a SaaS user experience used by millions of people every month and powers over ten thousand online stores. The QA Tester is responsible for developing comprehensive test cases and test plans, and tacking issues to ensure that software releases do not contain defects. The tester also schedules software deployments to minimize impact. Responsibilities: Coordinates and schedules releases to QA, UAT, and Production sites. Deploys and tests software updates in the QA site. Documents comprehensive, thorough test plans and test cases for new updates, plus regression testing. Evaluates internal and external testers for user acceptance testing. Evaluates issues that users encounter during user acceptance testing to determine impact. Performs validation testing for software updates. Analyze, triage, and document all issues discovered during testing. Verify and close issues resolved during the release cycle. Track and reports on software defects, enhancement requests, and release statuses. Requirements: 2+ years experience as Quality Assurance tester and implementing various software QA methodologies or relevant application specific experience. Experience and knowledge of the software life cycle and testing practices Demonstrate hands-on experience writing test cases and test scripts Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Detail oriented with strong analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively, independently, and with others in a collaborative, deadline-sensitive environment. Ability to adapt to various project types, documentation types, and shifting priorities. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
