Participate in the performance testing of some of Red Hat’s engineering infrastructure tools. The Red Hat DevOps team is looking for a Quality Engineering (QE) Intern to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will start by setting up a performance test environment to design test scenarios, implementing Apache JMeter scripts, running automated performance tests, and then analyzing the results. Throughout the internship, you’ll learn the standard procedures of performance testing as well as how to use Apache JMeter. You’ll be guided by experienced performance engineers, but you’ll be encouraged to do your own research most of the time. As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will work in a team that encourages collaboration, openness, and transparency, and where the best ideas always win. You’ll need to be passionate about open source and willing to learn performance testing skills.
