Regional Vice President / Regional Sales Director for Platform Enterprise Sales
Location – Germany: Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf or Berlin

This position is focused on Platform Sales. Experience and knowledge in this solution at the Enterprise level is a strong requirement.

*Role Description:*

We are looking for a best in class, high performing, senior sales business leader to lead a team of Account Executives in the German Enterprise sales organisation, covering one of the fastest growing 'clouds' in Salesforce.
The appointed person will play a key role in generating revenue and achieving individual, team and organizational quotas. The RVP/RSD will be a valuable contributor to sales strategy while providing definition and implementation to help Account Executives achieve corporate objectives.

*Your Impact:*

We are looking to hire someone, who will have responsibility for managing a sales team in our German enterprise team, with responsibilities including:

* Successfully grow the market share of the Salesforce Platform in certain vertical sectors
* Attracting, hiring, developing and retaining the best talent in the industry
* Ongoing mentorship and professional development of Account Executives so as to achieve high performance on all aspects of sales
* Conducting weekly forecast meetings for respective segments and report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
* Execute and develop the Go-To-Market strategy for the respective segment
* Collaborate successfully with the wider Salesforce ecosystem to drive pipeline and maximize close ratios


Basic Requirements:

* Demonstrated successful people management experience of a sales team (5+ people) for a minimum of 5 years. Experience to develop people
* Compelling communicator to IT Leaders incl. CIO, CDO, Head of Application Development etc.
* Strong track record of performance and trajectory
* Proven Enterprise Cloud / Software sales experience
* Previous experience selling Application Development or Digital Transformation technology desirable
* Experience with working in complex matrix organisations, leveraging the wider internal ecosystem for success
* Demonstrated experience of implementing a business plan
* Solid understanding of what we at salesforce.com (http://salesforce.com/) do
* Master or Bachelor degree qualified is preferable
* Be based out of our Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf or Berlin office
