Role Responsibilities

• Managing the build process and packaging for Graylog’s products

• Supporting developer workflows and automation

• Helping to build and maintain the CI infrastructure

• Working with internal and external users of our packages to address their needs

Role Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a release engineer

• Extensive experience with Java-based builds (we use Maven) and at least one CI system (we currently use Jenkins)

• Familiarity with native packaging for at least Linux, we currently ship deb and rpm

• Familiarity with Docker

• Experience with automating and testing the produced artifacts

• Bonus points for experience with golang and golang builds

• Experience with a distributed version control system (git, Mercurial or comparable)

• Working with remote teams requires a prudent approach, active inquiry and effective communication via chat

• Proficient English communication skills

• Willingness to travel to team meetings 3-4 times a year
