About the Role
In this role, you'll be using Rust, Ruby, Javascript, and PostgreSQL. We prioritize excellent customer support - at times you will work with customers to help resolve an issue or understand a feature requirement. If you have the appropriate skills, we'd love for you to do some Linux system administration. We encourage pair programming, to share knowledge across projects and provide mentoring across skill levels.
About You
- Fluent with front-end web development - HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Familiarity with Node.js, npm
- Familiarity with Ruby, Rails, Rubygems, etc.
- Linux experience (Fedora is our primary OS)
- Familiarity with Rust, Python, PHP, Perl, Go, or Java
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL (or any SQL database)
- Familiarity with REST, MVC
- Familiarity with Git (Github/Bitbucket/Gitlab)
- Strong development experience in a professional setting
- Experience with AWS and online payment processing a plus
