The role:

StreamSets is looking to add to its team of top performing SDRs that own pipeline and spread the gospel of StreamSets. Reporting to the Mid-market/SDR Manager, you will manage account reach through a combination of outbound cold and warm calling, and messaging through platforms such as Outreach.io, DiscoverOrg, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

 

The responsibilities:

  • Qualify outbound opportunities and develop a demo pipeline by phone and email communications
  • Develop and build on cold calling and email campaign strategies to qualify potential customers as a match for our Big Data technology
  • Meet monthly qualified opportunity goals to support company revenue goals
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the StreamSets technology, industry trends, and competition - you are excited to work in this space and motivated to keep learning more

Requirements

The skills:

  • Internally motivated and great collaborator
  • Technically curious
  • Lifelong learner, interested in learning the nuanced messaging and positioning of a Big Data technology platform
  • Optimistic and positive, especially when it comes to picking up the phone

The experience:

  • Previous SDR or business development experience (6 months - 1 year)
  • Familiarity with basic technical concepts
  • Experience working remotely or interest in working remotely
