Requirements

 

The Sales Engineer is a US regional position with responsibilities that align with Bigtincan’s commercial sales segments. The successful candidate for this position will have a wide range of industry, technology, and business acumen along with strong mobility solutions and process optimization background. A candidate’s technical background should be balanced by extensive sales and solution-focused experience. While this role is an individual contributor role, it is considered a leadership, business development, and selling position. The Associate Sales Engineer will work closely to support, sales, business development, and support teams throughout the US.

As a key member of the Bigtincan Sales Engineering team, your primary responsibilities include working with your aligned sales team, existing accounts, and Bigtincan prospects to identify, define, design, and present advanced Sales Enablement solutions for enterprise organizations. Bigtincan takes a unique approach to our sales process where we create highly personalized, on-brand, demonstration experiences as conversation guides. You should be able to apply consultative selling skills to deeply understand the current state and positive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual booking/revenue goals
  • Collaborate with account teams to identify and progress cross-sell opportunities
  • Apply Bigtincan’s sales framework and methodology within the context of the customer’s business to identify and prioritize solutions and opportunities
  • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to position Bigtincan capabilities appropriately
  • Structure and facilitate conversations and strategic direction related to available solutions with both IT and Line of Business stakeholders
  • Demonstrate proficiency in advanced applications (e.g. CRM, SharePoint, MDM, SSO, mobile security, dashboards/analytics, micro learning, mobile B2C, mobile ERP enablement etc.)
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with customers to drive visioning, solution definition, and roadmap creation while constantly advancing the sales cycle
  • Create and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and discussions in a credible and compelling manner, and position yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Know the Bigtincan use cases for each persona and how sellers will demonstrate that value
  • Assist in RFP and RFI responses.

What you’ll need:

  • 1+ years of experience demonstrated success in technology, applications, and solutions sales
  • History of success in consultative/applications selling to large enterprise accounts
  • Proven capabilities in working with customer executives to gather requirements, envision and craft innovative mobile solutions, and deliver as committed
  • Experience cross selling into existing accounts
  • Desire to work in a fast paced hyper-growth software company
  • Experience communicating and presenting customer-tailored solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, selling, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of SaaS line of business sales and marketing solutions
  • A unique balance of get-it-done and strategic planning, technical know-how, and storytelling
  • Experience with Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality content and common use cases
  • Technical proficiency in creating and maintaining demo environments
  • Superior communications skills (presentation, written, and verbal) and demonstrated ability to communicate/present/motivate effectively across technical and selling teams
