The Red Hat Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Sales Operations team is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join us in Paris, France. In this role, you will support the sales team, eliminating inefficiencies and allowing the team to promote revenue and enhance Red Hat’s competitive position in the market. You will also lead and manage programs and projects of the sales team. You will work closely with sponsors, project owners, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to define deliverables and manage tasks, resources, costs, and progress. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you'll also provide updates in review meetings and quarterly business reviews, provide strategy progress reports, and propose corrective action.


  • Prepare strategy updates, define metrics, and implement a monitoring mechanism
  • Identify the goals, objectives, and scope of projects while working with relevant leaders and stakeholders
  • Facilitate, specify, document, and deliver business requirements to management and functional areas to identify resource requirements, costs, and delivery schedules
  • Handle project management issues like project ownership and planning, project integration and adoption, reporting, and post mortem
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the existing business processes and capabilities
  • Propose process management improvements and guide their development and adoption
  • Provide effective and consistent communication between management, resources, and other business partners
  • Provide operational support to the business development sales leadership on forecasting, planning, and pipeline management
  • Define requirements for and provide analytics to support the decision making
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Business Development Sales Leadership team
  • Support, guide, and maintain the sales methodology and escalations

  • University degree, preferably an MBA in project management
  • 5+ years of international work experience in sales or sales-related roles, preferably in the software industry
  • Experience working with multiple projects in a matrix environment
  • Process improvement experience
  • Excellent business intelligence and good analytical skills
  • Excellent persuasive communication skills with an ability to persuade associates at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent command of English and knowledge of another European language, preferably French
  • Deep knowledge of sales methodologies and experience delivering business case financials to manage improvements in sales processes and tools
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification is a plus
