Sales Operations Analyst – Sales Development SALT LAKE CITY OR REMOTE SALES OPERATIONS FULL-TIME Degreed exists to discover, empower and recognize the next generation of the world’s expertise. You’ll be responsible for working with our sales and SDR leadership team to create and execute sales processes and procedures. You have experience in both inbound and outbound inside sales ecosystems. You understand the metrics and data needed to accurately analyze inputs, outputs, and results. You understand different sales development team structures, revenue models, and how to be effective and efficient in all of them. In this key position, you’re managing all the functions for supporting an effective and efficient sales development process and you are extremely passionate about how to go about this. Data analysis is in your DNA but you’re able to balance that with strategic planning and aiding tactical execution. You’re ready to jump into a new adventure, sort through information, and take immediate action. RESPONSIBILITIES Determine go-to-market approaches and conduct regular business and resource planning Define, manage, and provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales development organization Be the resident Inbound Sales Expert for our Revenue Operations processes Prepare reports on team performance, activity and results and collaborate with leadership on recommendations for outliers, trends or areas for improvement Ownership of Sales Development tools and procedures Proactively identify opportunities to improve the sales development process (shorten time to contact, scalable and repeatable processes etc.) through quantitative and qualitative analysis Oversee implementation of enabling systems and tools, working closely with internal systems teams, experience with many of the following: Salesforce Lightning,outreach.io, Leandata, Zoominfo, Zoom, Leadspace Make every member of the team more capable with the use of technology Own prospect data import and distribution Assist in the creation and monitoring of SDR Outreach campaigns Help to evaluate vendors, implement new tools, and train the team Need to be good with data – manipulating large data sets and sophisticated quantitative analysis techniques to conduct analysis on the sales development funnel, identifying gaps in the process and conversions, and developing new ways to track productivity Utilize existing dashboards and create new ones to pinpoint areas of inefficiency or untapped opportunities across the sales development teams Additional projects and duties as come up and needed REQUIREMENTS Demonstrate a track record of inbound operational excellence 1+ years of experience, ideally at a start up or technology company, and be familiar with sales development models Experience with Go-to-market strategy and tactical execution Experience with B2B SaaS, multi-product, and technical sales is highly preferred Extensive first-hand experience with progressive sales automation systems and demonstrated ability to improve sales productivity Superior analytical, critical thinking and quantitative skills Ability to drive strategic direction through insightful analysis Flexibility (open to change) and ability to learn on the fly Capacity to work effectively in a team sales environment and build effective working relationships across the organization Effective communicator, both written and verbal
