ur team empowers the success of our TMP (Tech, Marketing and Product) employees through the content and programs we deliver. We ensure the success and engagement of our TMP employees (our 'Ohana') by designing and delivering learning, innovation and culture programs that scale with the growth of TMP, our locations, and our acquisitions. As a Salesforce Developer you'll be developing apps and tools to support not just this team, but the entire TMP organization to enable us to be as efficient and innovative as we can be.

In this unique role that is mostly engineering but also part scrum master and part project manager, you'll work with the business to identify opportunities and outline requirements, build, test and work with a QE engineer for further testing. This job requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to deliver on time with quality and also handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Someone having strong application development, writing, collaboration, and communication skills. The focus will be on creating, maintaining, and improving our Salesforce applications that enable our customer success. Additionally, thrive in an environment that is highly collaborative in nature across multiple product functions including Sales & Marketing, product management, engineering, etc.

You must possess good oral and written communication skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast with quality. Our team strives to create purpose in our work while at the same time questioning the status quo and having fun in the process.

Required Skills:

  • JavaScript background
  • Experience with front-end web UI debugging (Chrome dev console)
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Salesforce Lightning platform (Lightning/Aura components)
  • Worked previously with any of the following JavaScript frameworks/libraries: React, jQuery, Angular or similar
  • Deep understanding of web standards & technologies (ex. HTTP, REST and JSON).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for engineering, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions—including writing specifications, design/layout, coding, agile team principles and leadership
  • Working with stakeholders to help refine requirements and develop to those requirements
  • Taking impactful features from idea to implementation
  • Champion best practices and guide and influence team on leveraging such practices.
  • Communicate status, risks to schedules, and offer mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery of all committed projects across the delivery teams
  • Elegantly bring designs to life using standards-compliant dynamic HTML, CSS, and our internal Javascript MVC framework (Lightning, similar to Angular, React, etc.)
  • Brainstorm and prototype new concepts and approaches fast, turning prototypes into real things.
  • Work with product manager to meet the demands of our customers, while at the same time continuing to innovate far beyond the competition.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, that may be leveraged to product better products and solutions. Be a team player in a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

  • CS degree with 6 years experience as a software engineer
  • 3 years experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform & API's.
  • Ambitious, driven, and talented individual who wants to work on significant, game-changing problems.
  • Able to design and write well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code that balances beauty and pragmatism.
  • Expert knowledge of Object Oriented (OO) design patterns such as MVC.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools like Jenkins, and Perforce/GIT.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with automation, test strategy and passion for quality.
  • Passionate about web development and up to date with the latest developments in your field.

Desired experience:

  • Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Experience working at-scale by reusing components and code to push apps out fast
