Scrum Master (SaaS) – Remote (UK-based) and Hybrid Working Options Available

We are excited to be creating a new role within Inspiretec. The successful Scrum Master will be joining a small team with an exciting start-up feel (with the benefits of being part of a much bigger business!).

As we continue to grow our Travel CRM business in the UK and internationally, we are expanding our CRM team. Reporting to our Director of Customer Operations, the successful Scrum Master will contribute to our mission to deliver outstanding customer experience and grow the product into new markets.

The successful applicant will join a passionate team, in a core position, and at an exciting time – and not to mention the opportunity to influence, shape and contribute to building a product we are all proud of and excited for!

The Role:

  • Performing the Scrum Master role for an established team, coaching and leading the team, working with the Product owner and other stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of the team.
  • Remove impediments and coach the Scrum team on removing impediments.
  • Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives.
  • Assist in the planning of work, helping to understand capacity.
  • Ensuring work and progress is visible and transparent with forecasting and reporting based on data from the team.
  • Learn about the usage and functionality of the core product, share the passion of the team for the mission to deliver customer and business value through the product.
  • Deal directly with customers, building relationships and fostering a partnership engagement with key customers.
  • Enabling the team to become high performers by recognising areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.

Requirements

  • About You:

 

  • Passionate about Agility, you will have experience of the implementation of Scrum and Agile practices, but you do not limit yourself to what you have done and seen before. You are keen to focus on true Agility over adherence to a framework, and to work in an environment where others share your passion.
  • You have a growth mindset, you are adaptable to working environments and constraints and always looking to learn, improve, and grow – as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience of leading a Scrum team.
  • Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
  • Exceptional organisation and planning skills.
  • Sound knowledge of project tooling (such as Jira).
  • Demonstrated experience of facilitating meetings at multiple levels, along with an understanding of facilitation techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Experienced in successfully leading remote teams.

 

 

 

Desirable Extras:

  • Certified Scrum Master Qualifications: CSM Certified Scrum Master, PSM – Professional Scrum Master
  • A knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
  • Experience of Kanban introduction to a Scrum team / organisation through for example STATIK
