SDR Lead 
 
This person will lead a team of SDRs that are responsible for evangelizing UpCounsel to deliver qualified leads to the sales team. The SDR Team Lead will oversee the SDR team remotely, be very organized, accountable for the team’s success, take responsibility for continuous coaching, training of the team, and achieving goals/quotas. The team lead will align SDR goals and activities with our Go To Market strategy/plans to ensure the company achieves growth and expansion targets. This role works closely with the sales teams to maximize pipeline creation and reports to the Sales Manager.

The Team
 
The primary objectives of the go-to-market team are to generate a pipeline for new, quality sales opportunities, land new customers, expand business within our existing customers, and retain 100% of our customers.
 

 Responsibilities

  • Player/Coach role - Lead team and support as needed daily SDR responsibilities
  • Personally manage inbound lead flow
  • Monitor and refine lead processes; continually optimize Outreach.io, SFDC, and other selling tools to improve rep productivity
  • Work with sales to optimize pipeline creation and efficient lead handoff
  • Identify target accounts and prospects and then effectively pitch UpCounsel to set appointments with qualified prospects
  • Ensure SDR team are leveraging tools and resources available to them while focusing on driving operational efficiencies
  • Analyze data to identify trends and communicate appropriately to senior management
  • Review sequence performance, looking a messaging, cadence, and engagement
  • Enhance SDR Toolkits/Playbooks
  • Embrace a test, learn, and iterate environment
 
Desired Skills & Experience

  • One to three years at a  SaaS organization in an Inside Sales Development or Inside Sales role
  • Excellent customer-facing skills using written or verbal communication
  • Experience in utilizing and managing Salesforce, Outreach.io, other sales engagement platforms, and data
  • Highly organized around metrics and able to manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated to generate pipeline
  • Results-driven and able to work through rejection and coach team members through rejection
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
  • Proven success as a sales professional with an ability to lead the SDR team by example
  • Passion for training, motivating, and coaching in a fast-growth environment
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
