Lotus Q Inc, a virtual firm based out of Orange County, CA, is seeking a Senior Accountant who enjoys new challenges and working in a friendly, comfortable remote work environment. 

Candidates would perform the following activities -  

• Reconcile accounts and perform general accounting duties 
• Manage day to day client communication 
• Preparation of individual and business tax returns 
• Preparation of local and state compliance 
• Preparation of sales tax returns 
• Research and issue 1099s as needed 
• Lead & assist assigned staff accountants 

Candidates for this position must demonstrate knowledge of basic accounting principles and should have the following skills -  

• Knowledge of Quickbooks Online accounting software 
• Great analytical and problem solving skills 
• Excellent time management and organization skills to meet various deadlines 
• Ability to recognize and flag discrepancies 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel and Outlook 

Rate of Pay: $30/hr 

When you work over 30 hours per week consistently, on the 1st of the following month the candidate will be considered full time and eligible for benefits.  Current benefits provided to full time employees are –
