This opportunity is work from home, supporting multiple time zones; however the company reserves the right to invite you to the office or to attend in-person meetings as needed. Here are the essential duties and responsibilities you’ll perform: Obtain and maintain a deep understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Provide support to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close. Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Quick Books General Ledger System including, but not limited to: entering journal entries, posting cash, and account reconciliations. Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information and intercompany reporting/tracking Assist the Accounting Manager with daily banking requirements. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payables and collection of receivables. Collaborate with others in Finance to support overall department goals and objectives. Responds to inquiries from the CFO, Executive Director of Operational Finance and Controller regarding financial results, special reporting requests and ad hoc analyses. Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to improve the workflow and internal controls. What you will need: Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related business field Other required: A minimum of four years prior experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, payroll and benefits, taxes, state and federal filing requirements, and all areas of the accounting cycle Preferred: CPA or similar designation Experience with Quick Books CRO industry experience Based on East Coast time zone Dedicated, established, home work space and successful track record working remotely Precision Medicine Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
