We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer for the Platform team, to help craft and enhance the future of the Teamwork suite, working on a number of cross-product projects such as shared login and billing systems, shared libraries and components and the Developer Portal. We have a heavy focus on performance, reliability, tooling and well-tested reusable code to support the product teams and delight our customers. Must Have:

• Significant experience with Go or similar backend language such as Python or Ruby
• Knowledge of REST and developing APIs
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services, preferably AWS
• Good communication skills

Nice to Have:

• 6+ years of industry experience
• Experience with gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis (or similar for caching).
• Experience working in a remote team environment.
• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Sentry or other error monitoring tools.
• You're test-driven - writing tests isn't a chore for you.
• Open-source – we depend on and often contribute to open-source projects. If it's broken, why not fix it?
