GitHub is looking for a full-time Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Business Systems team to help administer, scale, and expand systems and technology.
Your role will be to help implement, administer, and optimize our business systems and assist with business process designs, system implementations, change management, training and compliance.
You'll partner with other awesome teams here at GitHub, such as Sales Operations, Sales Enablement to transform their challenges into systems-driven solutions. Collectively, we're a resourceful bunch that enjoys mastering new and sometimes difficult subject matter, striving for efficient and effective processes, and working collaboratively to improve our systems.
Our primary customers are our internal business partners. We pride ourselves on making sure they are set up to be successful by assisting in change management during the introduction of process or system changes. Training and documentation is key, and you can expect to be educating Hubbers both one on one and in groups on how to get the most out of their systems. You should be equally comfortable configuring or providing excellent customer service.
This position is based in our San Francisco office and reports to the Senior Business Systems Manager.
Own the functional development of solutions that support Sales, working with Sales Operations, Sales Enablement and other teams as needed
Lead projects end-to-end from design, build, test, to deploy. Understand design trade-offs between declarative, code, and 3rd party tools
Perform administrative functions including user, profile, role, permission, queue and assignment management
Serve as the primary contact with end-users (field questions, triage feature requests, troubleshoot issues) and cross-functional stakeholders
Use and recommend best practices while delivering scalable high quality solutions
Assist with data management and governance. Support reporting requirements and leverage Salesforce for data-driven decisions
Assist in designing, reviewing and/or maintaining both requirements and testing procedures and documentation
Act as our in-house CPQ (SteelBrick) expert and lead CPQ initiatives
Proven track record for designing and delivering solutions that are focused on usability, flexibility and scalability
Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform (data model, business processes)
Ability to manage cross-department stakeholders with unique needs and competing priorities
Advanced Salesforce.com configuration and management (or implementation) experience
CPQ (SteelBrick) management (or implementation) experience
Experience documenting and maintaining business, functional, and/or technical requirements
Ability to manage and cleanse Salesforce data using various data management tools
Proven experience navigating, managing, and working within sandbox and production environments
Experience with Salesforce admin tools (e.g. force.com IDE, Workbench, Data Loader)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile software development environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
5 years of business/technical analyst experience
Salesforce.com certification (Administrator, App Builder, Sales Cloud)
Familiarity with Zuora, Boomi, Zendesk, and Integration tools
Experience working with a distributed team across timezones
Git or GitHub experience
