Position Description:

The Workplace Service Sr. Coordinator will provide the support in the area of Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Services in Japan (RE&WS). The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Facility management, Workplace Services and performs moderately complex tasks typically in larger offices or multiple smaller offices. Solves moderately complex problems requiring the use of ingenuity and innovation. This role consists of multi-faceted with a high emphasis on customer service & workplace services best practices to creatively support salesforce.com’s efforts to extend its unique company culture and employee experience to regional offices. Additional skill sets must include minimal direction and supervision and advanced understanding of office operations and tasks, train others and clear understanding of REWS and WS, as well as Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the facility management and workplace services in a manner that engages with our internal and external customers to provide a high level of service with great hospitality.
  • Collaborate and align with Global RE&WS and implement the Global initiatives and programs related facility management and workplace services into Japan region.
  • Execute day-to-day facilities management such as facility and space maintenance and improvement, cleaning, space utilization status tracking, mac project and sustainability activities in multiple locations in Japan to provide the Salesforce space experience with our internal customers and guests in the workplace in multiple locations in the region.
  • Execute day-to day workplace services operations to provide the efficient and productive services and first class hospitality with our internal customers and guests in the workplace in multiple location in the region.
  • Execute the continuous process improvement to realize higher level of operational excellence.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • 3+ year relevant experience of facility management and workplace service.
  • End user and business driven mindset with high level of hospitalities.
  • Strong team player mindset.
  • Thinking forward proactively and strong passion for seeking the continuous process and service improvement and realize the innovative service solutions.
  • Must exhibit a strong desire to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with end users.
  • Excellent data management and analytical skills.
  • Excellent schedule and budget management skills.
  • Experience delivering best in class customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute process improvements.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where priorities change frequently.

  • Excellent knowledge and working experience in the area of facility management such as facility maintenance, space utilization tracking, mac project management, sustainability.
  • Knowledge and working experience in workplace services such as mail, refreshment services.
  • Outstanding and creative verbal, written, and visual storytelling and communications skills ( English and Japanese )
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendor relationships
  • Familiarity with social networking tools and how to leverage them in workplace services messaging
  • Strong skills in MS Word and Excel, including basic skills in Power Point.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Facility Management, related fields.
