We are currently looking for a Senior Data Architect to work on the data architecture discovery and design for a new PIM solution for our Retail FMCG client. You will be responsible for designing and documenting the product data model for a new PIM solution. You will work alongside our Lead Consultant to capture data requirements and document these requirements in a data model that will be used to specify and build the new PIM solution.

We work with many clients across retail, manufacturing and distribution, helping them delight their suppliers and customers with quality-focused product data processes, data governance, and technology. We add value to our clients across the entire product data value chain - from product data source identification and acquisition, product information management (PIM) and Master Data Management (MDM), through to product data syndication.

As a Senior Data Architect, you will have:

• Experience in performing a data architecture or data analysis role within a large, complex full-cycle Product Data Management (PIM) or MDM project

• Experience in Retail is a must

• Understanding of retailer and distribution operating models and processes across product & supplier management, data onboarding, enrichment, supply chain, eCommerce & Digital

• Understanding of master data governance frameworks

• Experience in creating data models from conceptual to physical level

• Experience in creating data mapping documents

• Experience in data profiling

• Experience using Jira and Confluence, Visio and data modelling tooling

• Experience facilitating client-facing workshops

• A strong logical understanding of the product data lifecycle and business challenges

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with diligent attention to detail and quality of output

• Experience in estimating data architecture effort

As a Senior Data Architect consultant at Start with Data you will benefit from:

• A daily rate of £500 - £650 outside IR35

• 4-month contract with likely extension
