DataKitchen's DataOps Platform adds agility to data engineering, while reducing errors and cycle times.
We need a talented **DevOps Engineer** to help us reach new levels of performance and reliability. Our focus for this role is on software defined networking, infrastructure as code and automation.
We look for strong technical skills, attention to detail, the ability to self-manage, and enthusiasm for our inclusive and supportive culture. DataKitchen is committed to being remote-first. Our employees are in the US, Argentina, Brazil, UK, the Dominican Republic, Italy, Canada and other locations. You must be located within GMT+1 (e.g. Italy) to GMT-8 (e.g. CA). We will not consider candidates outside those time zones because we value close collaboration and working sane hours.
Desirable Skills:
* 3+ years of experience with cloud IaC
* Strong scripting / debugging chops: Python, Bash, Node, etc.
* Experience with network design and management
* Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation and other automation tools
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and/or a similar orchestration platform
* Knowledge of multiple cloud platforms
* Experience troubleshooting database systems
* Enthusiasm, curiosity and drive!
