What we’re looking for:

Highly strategic role where the trusted advisor, plans and directs all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the organization’s senior executive. Acts as a point of contact to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and accomplish goals. Using extensive experience, judgment and analytical skills, provides oversight and guidance to projects of high importance.

You will drive strategic direction, prioritize initiatives and resources against key performance metrics while working cross-functionally to operationalize initiatives. As a senior member of the executive team reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will also work with the Finance Leadership Team to create an internal and external communications strategy that engages Citrix employees, partners, customers, alliances, M&A, and supports major corporate cross-functional initiatives. You will understand complex issues, break them down and communicate as needed in both written (emails, blog posts, FAQ) and spoken (strategy presentations, videos) forms that align to the goals of the company and of the worldwide sales & services organization.

You are a curiosity-driven, organized team player who will identify, model and prioritize strategic initiatives based on data, customer feedback, and other inputs, along with rapidly developing and testing performance improvement hypotheses. You will help develop compelling messages, create thoughtful presentations and find innovative ways to engage employees and contribute to the team’s culture. You excel in highly collaborative roles, working with teammates, leadership and internal partners from finance, operations, product, sales, support and marketing to keep audiences large and small to drive initiatives form inception to completion, while keeping the team engaged and informed.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, model, and prioritize strategic initiatives based on data, customer feedback, and other inputs.
  • Rapidly develop and test performance improvement hypotheses; then iterate based on feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Develop creative strategies for communicating to key audiences while taking advantage of an executive’s unique voice and the needs of different audiences.
  • Develop, write, and edit communications for CFO including emails, employee events, management meetings, and external presentations.
  • Plan the frequency and channels of communication and coordinate stakeholders across different areas of the business and the company.
  • Influence messaging and provide advice that reflects an understanding of their business and leadership style.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; master’s degree/MBA preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience leading and growing a high-performing consulting, strategy, and/or operations function, preferably in a high-tech or finance industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in corporate/executive communications.
  • Strong understanding of measuring performance through metrics and KPIs with the ability to tell a rich story through data.
  • A tenacious drive to win and persistence to push beyond adversity to solve the most challenging problems.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects at once in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion.
  • Excellent creative and visual skills including slide design with experience using presentation software preferred.
  • Experience with financial, security, digital privacy or IT communications at a global technology company preferred.
