Our range of clients includes the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and the U.S. Air Force. We develop digital solutions that impact the lives of millions of Americans.

Our team is rapidly growing and looking for an experienced Senior Emulation Engineer to lead our emulation and prototyping efforts for our advanced projects. We need a hands-on leader to take control of our emulation efforts and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. We enjoy the challenges of human-centered design, security, and scale to create better outcomes for our federal agency partners. We are a remote-first and work completely in the open-source.
 

What you will do: 

• Emulate Digital Twins of the edge hardware devices
• Work with stakeholders to understand pain points that can be automated
• Configure non-traditional CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI Runners
• Extensively work with QEMU (https://www.qemu.org/)
• Configure end-to-end Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) pipeline to enable embedded software engineers to test updates in short feedback loops

Who you are: 

• Hands on experience with DevOps Automation
• Years of experience emulating hardware
• Developed a passion for automation and deploying to hardware with no manual steps
• Have specific work with virtualization and R&D
• Be able to break down long term complex tasks into short term demo-able features
• Lead at least 2+ engineers and be a senior member of a team

Preferred:

• Prior experience building data intensive platforms and using open-source technologies
• Higher education in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science---bonus points for dropping out
