• *Job summary**

The Red Hat Global Finance team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Telecommunications, Verticals, and Global Accounts Sales and Finance teams in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will focus on financial planning and analysis activities, providing business insights through data and business intelligence. You will work with finance and business leadership across the globe as well as shared services teams in India. You will play an important role in supporting senior leadership of Red Hat. You will need to have great communication and analytical skills as well as skillful approach to collaboration and business partnering.

• *Primary job responsibilities**

+ Design financial metrics and dashboards to report on past performance

+ Develop and maintain financial models to anticipate future outcomes

+ Create return-on-investment (ROI) models to assess effectiveness of sales initiatives

+ Prepare presentations for senior leadership, providing data-oriented insight

+ Provide thought leadership to sales teams to support their decision making

+ Collaborate with shared services teams on reporting, modeling, and insights

+ Participate in global process improvement projects

• *Required skills**

+ Undergraduate degree in finance or a related field

+ 7+ years of related professional experience

+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

+ Experience delivering presentations to senior management and an eye for detail

+ Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills

+ Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision

+ Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, and collaboration skills

+ Ability to communicate complex financial matters in understandable terms

+ Willingness to work extended hours during the quarter and year-end; this may include

+ weekends

The following skills are considered a plus:

+ MBA or graduate degree in a related field

+ Software or Software-as-a-Services (SaaS) industry experience

+ Experience working with sales teams

+ Big 4 or management consulting experience

+ Experience with Tableau, Salesforce.com (SFDC), and Google spreadsheets and slides

+ Experience working with global teams
