We’re looking for hands-on, experienced Front-end Software Engineer to join the early stage engineering team. As one of the early members of the frontend engineering team, you work together with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to solve common goals, you will be owning the entire user-facing web tier and responsible for implementing frontend heavy components, optimizing and scaling it globally. • Work with stakeholders of product to deliver new user-facing features on the website.
• Own and manage all phases of the software development lifecycle (planning, design, implementation, deployment and support).

• Writing a lot of Javascript code and keeping the application more lightweight.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, engineers and stakeholders on the projects.
• Communicate technical ideas and set direction on projects with a focus on solving business challenges

• A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals and 5+ years of software development experience.
• A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
• Having built consumer-facing web applications using frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS and know why a framework is necessary.
• Work cross-functionally with the team to build a next-generation web application with a focus on an extraordinary client-side experience.
• Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components, including appropriate Unit and Integration testing.
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• You possess strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment is a must. Open source contribution is a plus.
