We believe the key to building a fairer economy lies in making it easy for companies to be co-owned by employees, founders, investors, and partners. Help us redesign the economy by building services that will enable and accelerate the transition to the co-ownership economy.

The programming challenges you will face are numerous and complex. How do you implement a frontend in a way that bridges Web2.0 with the blockchain? How can we write a scalable frontend application that allows for fast development while keeping a good level of reliability? How can you develop a frontend architecture that allows us to pursue different product directions at the same time? How can we as the tech team collaborate with the different stakeholders and design an ownership and governance system that by default promotes solidarity and equality? How do we translate our vision into technical solutions?

Ultimately the success of our service will be measured by how much we have reduced global wealth inequality by increasing universal basic asset ownership.

We have an advisory board with authors, activists, and professors that are working on alternative ownership

Our CEO is academically trained in systems theory and design as well as a 3rd-time founder

Our Tech team is well experienced in Blockchain and distributed systems

We are a remote-first company and are open to work from anywhere (with the option to work in offices in Berlin).

We are now looking for a driven senior frontend developer to join our Tech team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the head of Engineering and designers to develop our first MVP

• Collaborate and coordinate with UI designers and the backend team

• Implement, fix and test frontend features that interface with our backend and blockchain

• Write responsive UI Components and frontend interfaces

• As part of the Frontend team, develop a modular frontend application that allows for different products directions at the same time

• Experience with React, NodeJS, Typescript.

• At least 3 years experience as a front-end engineer.

• Experience with state management solutions (preferably Redux).

• Experience with Ethereum blockchain.

• Ability to work in an agile, energetic startup environment.

• Understand the importance of testing front-end components with experience of creating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
