Our client, a top international Pharmaceutical/CPG manufacturer, is currently seeking a Senior Graphic Designer for a 12+ month contract opportunity, located in New York, NY.

Overview and responsibilities for the position below;

The Design Studio is the internal design team of the company, and creates compelling end-user solutions across all the Company’s business groups::: Consumer, Pharma and Medical Devices. The Studio is comprised of 2D (Graphic and Environmental Design), 3D, DXD, UX/UI, CGI and Design Operations (Studio Management, Project Management and Print Production) categories and numbers 100 professionals, many with advanced degrees in their chosen design specialties.

We are seeking a Graphic Designer III within the 2D/Graphic Design team.

In this role, you will use your excellent design skills and utilize Design Thinking to deliver project work and key initiatives across multiple touchpoints. The Graphic Designer III demonstrates strong management skills in parallel with strong design, strategy and technical skills to deliver innovative, ingenious and high-quality design. You have deep subject matter expertise in new and/or emerging design applications which you will apply to the many projects and programs you will design and manage.

Additionally, you will be a collaborative team member with other designers and design categories such as 3D, I.D., In-Store Merchandising, Corporate Branding and Digital and be comfortable presenting creative concepts and strategies to the business partners and/or executives of the Company. Projects may be wide-ranging such as packaging, product launches, full campaigns and design-led initiatives. Furthermore, you understand, interpret and disseminate design goals and strategies to achieve team goals set forth.

This position is up to 75% hands-on design in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor Degree coupled with 7+ years’ experience in design, with a broad understanding of design strategy methods and practices. Fluency in Adobe CSS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is required. Understanding environmentally responsible design is required. Demonstrated strong visual, written and oral communication skills to execute project briefs is required.
